My Brothers Keeper Community Development Corporation is a nonprofit community organization that assists homeless and under-served veterans in Chicagoland and its surrounding suburbs. We have a passion for those who have served us and a willingness to assist them so they can thrive in a place to live the American Dream that they gave their lives to protect.

Our History

My Brothers Keeper was founded with the needs of our under-served communities in mind. We are creating programs that are designed to encourage, motivate and provide the resources needed for individuals and families to become self-sufficient and live out the American Dream. Our first priority is our veterans. We believe a Homeless Veteran in the US is unacceptable so our Vet Care Program will help to house veterans and give them the tools they need to become financially stable and possible homeowners.

Programs to come:

  • Teens-on-the Scene which will help teens prepare for college or the workforce, even entrepreneurship whichever direction they are willing to go.
  • Fathers Project to reconcile fathers back into the lives of their children
  • Single Mothers Program to guide our young single mothers into the realm of self-sufficiency.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to assist in the positive development of distressed families and communities to ensure self-sufficiency through our program components.

Operation Vet Care Mission Statement:

With passion and compassion, our mission is to provide homeless and under-served veterans the necessary resources to become self-sufficient to live the American Dream they fought so hard to protect.
